What is a personal concierge?
A personal concierge is an expert in getting things done. If you are trying to cram 36 hours into a 24 hour day, a personal concierge will do your running around so you don't have to. She will take your To Do List and get it done. Whether the regular stuff of daily living (errands, repairs, appointments) or the overwhelming logistics of one-time events (think: moving), a personal concierge provides calm oversight, capable task management and deadline-driven timeliness.
What makes Suzy's Concierge Services unique?
Suzy was trained by the best: her quadruplets, and movie producers in a previous career. Suzy checks in with clients after move-in day and brings a favorite latte when overwhelm hits. As a solopreneur, clients trust Suzy to always deliver a superb level of service and attention. She makes it a point to know her clients' preferred stores and brands. With a background as a life coach, she knows how to support clients in a personal, comfortable way.

Suzy's Concierge Services is licensed and insured.
What don’t you do?
If Suzy doesn't do something you need done, she will do her best to recommend someone to help you out.
Heavy lifting or actual moves. However, Suzy will handle all moving preparations, coordination, packing and unpacking.
Technological tasks and fixes.
Housecleaning and laundry.
Working with hoarders.
Suzy reserves the right to refuse jobs she deems unsafe or inappropriate.
Isn’t it more expensive to use a concierge?
What is your time worth? Suzy saves clients time and money and frees them up to do what they love. She's a wiz at sourcing products and services. Her reasonable rate, flexibility and availability means clients have someone they know and trust.
How much lead time do you need?
For her normal $40/hr rate, Suzy requires 24 hours' notice. As her schedule allows, Suzy will accept emergency requests of less than 24-hours' notice, at a rate of $50/hr.
What are my payment options?
You may pay with cash or a check, or with credit through PayPal, Square or Venmo.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
If scheduled services are cancelled by the client less than 24 hours before the date scheduled, a $25 cancellation fee will be billed.
How do you handle confidentiality issues?
Suzy’s Concierge Service keeps all client and personal information confidential, and uses information only in strict regard to the projects requested.
How do your gift cards work?
So nice of you to consider giving someone you know the gift of Suzy! Gift Cards make a great Mother's Day, birthday present, client appreciation or realtors' closing gift. You can choose increments of 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 or 10 hours. Once Suzy receives your information and payment (via PayPal or check), she will contact you to confirm your delivery preference: a physical card in the mail or an electronic certificate via email.
What is the service area and are there transportation fees?
How does a personal concierge differ from a personal assistant?
Great question! There is an overlap between these two roles, but the distinctions are clear: personal assistants (PAs) are dedicated to one person, most frequently in a business setting. Tasks include meeting setup, travel arrangements, errands and communications that help the business person on a daily basis. Personal Concierges (PCs) work more in the personal realm of life, helping out with those one-time, organizational or repeating tasks that have an impact on home life. PCs have several clients at once and tend to get to know them well, anticipating their needs, preferences and inclinations.
